Dear CEA Family,

Last week we had the privilege of presenting our music students in concert.  Every night, Monday through Thursday was a delight.  Each night the audience was treated to a musical journey that showcased the hard work of our musicians and the guidance of their teachers.  We had the opportunity to see the progression that takes place over the years and through the dedication and passion given by the musicians.

We enjoyed everything from the delights of “Mary Had a Little Lamb” to complex compositions by Chopin, Mozart and Hadyn.  We saw the growth in our young violinists and cellists, heard the round tones of the woodwinds (clarinets and saxophones), marveled at the dexterity of our pianists, and applauded the nimble fingers of our guitarists and percussionists.  In short, it was wonderful!

Finding the time to practice and supporting young musicians through the beginning stages of learning an instrument requires the village.  Thank you to the teachers, the musicians and their supportive families.   You made last week a huge success.  Conchita’s legacy continues.
