Congratulations to all of the young artists whose artwork was displayed in the “Taste of the Tropics” Visual Arts show on May 14th. We are in awe of the marvels and beauty of each piece that formed part of the 2022 Visual Arts Show this past weekend. The way Mrs. Vazquez conceptualized and curated the show and inspired such incredible growth and progress in each one of her students is absolutely amazing and a testimony to the *magic*, teamwork, and creativity that happens at Conchita each day.
The show would not have been possible without the tireless hours of help and support from Ms. Merce and Mrs. Yero, who worked with Mrs. Vazquez every step of the way, the many faculty and staff who came by to help in between classes, on breaks, and even at home, our amazing parents who came to help set up, and of course our students, who did a beautiful job in creating their pieces, as well as those who volunteered to set up and help the day of.
It took a village, a true community, to create something beautiful. Together, we keep Conchita’s essence and legacy alive!
