Congratulations to Alejandro Fernandez! For the second time, Alejandro was chosen as one of the winners of the National Chopin Piano Competition and was among the students selected to play in the Chopin Young Pianists Concert. The concert will be in the Granada Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. 950 University Drive, Coral Gables. Alejandro is a student of Marlene Urbay, CEC Music Department Head.
For over 92 years, Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts (CEC) has maintained their commitment to the development of young artists. CEC offers students exceptional technical and artistic training within a nurturing environment that allows them to develop into human beings with a deep understanding, appreciation, and respect for the Arts. Enrollment is open to the community and not limited to students from the Academy. Classes are also available for professionals and adults.
