Spring Music Concert Series

The Spring Music Concerts are an opportunity for our music students to showcase their progress and perform for their families. The annual Spring Music Concert Series took place from April 15th through April 25th. From preschool to high school, it was a wonderful showcase of our students’ progress, the fruits of their hard work, and the ownership, responsibility, courage, character, and respect they displayed on- and off-stage. Thank you to Yirka Ledon, Music Department Head, and our extraordinary music faculty, for their hard work, talent, and dedication to our students!

Chopin Piano Competition Winners

Congratulations to Erik Rodriguez (6th grade) and Oscar Mosquera (4th grade) for being selected by the Chopin Foundation Young Pianists’ Concert! South Florida’s best piano students audition before a panel of professionals to obtain a coveted spot in the recital program at the Chopin for All Young Pianists’ Concert. The concert will be on Sunday, April 14th at the Granada Church. CEC Dancers and Musicans in NYC

The CEA Senior Dance, Music, and Voice Masteries spent four days in New York City taking classes and workshops with seasoned professionals in their respective areas, touring dance and music venues, and watching concerts and performances! From Broadway to Carnegie Hall, learning from renowned singers, dancers, instrumentalists, composers, and conductors, it was an eye-opening and fulfilling experience for everyone involved! Dance Performance Classes

The 2024 performance classes for CEC Dance students were a wonderful opportunity for our younger dancers to perform on stage and share what they have learned in the year. Several different age groups in each discipline participated in the same performance class, in order for the audience to gain an appreciation for the progression from level to level, and understand the “why” behind the exercises students work on in their classes.

For 87 years, Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts (CEC) has maintained their commitment to the development of young artists. CEC offers students exceptional technical and artistic training within a nurturing environment that allows them to develop into human beings with a deep understanding, appreciation, and respect for the Arts. Enrollment is open to the community and not limited to students from the Academy. Classes are also available for professionals and adults.
