CEC aims to create an environment in which young artists not only train in their discipline of choice, but have the opportunity to learn from, appreciate and respect others’ talents and interests. CEC cultivates a collaborative culture in which young artists can come together through cross-disciplinary experiences and creative performance opportunities that add richness to each students’ educational experiences and artistic development, creating artists and human beings who are deeply connected to each other, their teachers, and the community at large. Appreciation for the various avenues of the Arts amplifies students’ range of experiences and deepens their understanding of the world and other human beings, further igniting their curiosity, creativity and collaborative ability and adaptability, among other skills that apply both within and beyond the scope of the Arts.
