The Ballet department offers a sequential program geared toward the acquisition of classical technique and vocabulary, with a strong emphasis on body placement, coordination, and overall movement quality. The use of a professional live pianist in many of the advanced classes encourages the development of musicality within each dancer. Students are introduced to Pointe training once it is determined that the student has the physical development, core strength, and proper leg alignment and strength to begin Pointe work.
