The objective of the Cuban dance class is to teach students the fundamentals of the different dance forms and rhythms that stem from Cuba. Students are exposed to various rhythms, partnering techniques, and dance steps. In addition, relevant historical and cultural background of the different Cuban dance styles and music are introduced.
