Mr. Varela completed his musical studies in Havana, Cuba and Quito, Ecuador. He graduated with a concentration in cello and music ensembles. Since then, he has had an international career as a musician. Mr. Varela has formed part of Ecuador’s National Symphony Orchestra, as well as multiple chamber music and choral ensembles. As an educator, he has taught guitar, piano, cello, and choral music in diverse educational institutions and conservatories internationally. Mr. Varela has been on the guitar and piano faculty at Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts since 2024.
