VISUAL ARTS
Karina Vazquez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art Education for grades K-12 with a focus on studio atelier in drawing and painting from Florida International University, where she graduated with honors. Mrs. Vazquez also has an Associate degree in Fine Arts with a certification in Fashion Design from MIUAD Art Institute.
Mrs. Vazquez worked as a Visual Merchandiser creating windows and store displays for well-known companies for many years in Florida, but her passion for Art Education was calling her. She is finally pursuing her dream at CEA. She is not only skilled in drawing and painting, but also loves to crochet and sew, which she sometimes likes to incorporate in her art pieces.
