Piano
Lizet Ledón began her piano and flute studies in the Manuel Saumell Conservatory in Havana, Cuba. She continued her studies at the Amadeo Roldán Music Conservatory, and went on to graduate from the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba. Ms. Ledón continued her studies in Zaragoza, Spain, Lugano, Switzerland, and Bordeaux and Paris, France with a number of prestigious teachers. She performed as a flute soloist at many national and international concerts and festivals, including with the Cuban National Symphonic Orchestra, Barcelona Chamber Orchestra, Barecelona Zarzuela Orchestra, Florida Chamber Orchestra. Ledón won First Place at the Amadeo Roldán National Flute Competition in Havana, Cuba in 1987. She has also performed at the Havana Contemporary Music Festival, Music Spring Festival in Kosice, Slovakia, and the Latin-American Music Festival in Vienna, Austria. In addition to her experience as a profesional flutist, Ms. Ledón was the co-founder of Estudio Musical Ledón, a music conservatory in Barcelona, Spain. She has over twenty-two years of teaching experience in Havana, Cuba, Barcelona, Spain, and Miami, Florida. She has been teaching flute and piano at Conchita Espinosa Consrvatory of the Arts since 2010.
