Sheyla Perez Dominguez began her music studies at the age of 7, acquiring a specialty in trumpet. She graduated from the Escuela Vocacional de Arte “Leonardo Luberta Noy” in Nueva Gerona, Cuba. She went on to graduate from the National School of Music in Havana, Cuba as a professional trumpet player and teacher. Ms. Perez Dominguez continued her piano and trumpet performance studies at the Franz Liszt and Pulso Academy in Mexico.
Ms. Perez Dominguez has taught trumpet for over eight years in Cuba, Mexico, and the United States, specializing in teaching children and young adults. She has performed as a soloist across Mexico.
