Ms. Nuñez is a professional clarinet player and teacher. She began her clarinet studies in the “Paulita Concepción” music school. She continued her studies at the Amadeo Roldan Conservatory in Havana, Cuba and went on to graduate from Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana, Cuba. After graduation, Ms. Nuñez began her career as a music educator at the “Alejandro Garcia Caturla” music school. From 2000 to 2005 Ms. Nuñez was a member of the “Ebony Concert” clarinet quintet, directed by Jorge Serrano. In 2004, Ms. Nuñez relocated to Spain, where she was invited by numerous regional bands to play as a clarinetist. She toured many cities in Spain with the “Ebano Ensemble,” including Madrid, Valencia, and Murcia.
Ms. Nuñez’ career as a professional musician and educator spans over 25 years. In Miami, Ms. Nuñez forms part of Miami 4 Winds Ensemble and has been a member of the music faculty at Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts since 2014.
