Our Senior Dance Mastery students attended the Florida Dance Association’s Young Dancer Workshop (YDW) in Gainesville, and had an incredible experience!
Attending YDW has been a Conchita tradition for our dancers for more than 20 years. Since 2001, YDW has brought together Florida dancers, choreographers, educators, and students for professional training, performance opportunities, and meaningful connections. The workshop offers professional training in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, musical theatre, West African, Afrobrazilian, choreography, improvisation, jazz, hip hop, and more, as well as opportunities to perform and connect with fellow dancers across the state.
YWD offers dancers the opportunity to deepen their connection with dance and experience training through the lens the lens of academia and dance professionalism.
Thank you to Ms. Danella Bedford, for her exceptional leadership and mentorship to her dancers, as well as her talent and impeccable attention to detail in her choreography. Our dancers continue to thrive thanks to your guidance, dedication, and love.
