Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts (CEC) is committed to developing and training young artists. Courses are designed to meet the needs and interests of students dedicated to furthering their natural artistic talents. Enrollment is open to the community and not limited to students from the Academy. Classes are also available for professionals and adults. Conservatory faculty is handpicked for their excellent teaching skills and superb reputation in their respective areas of expertise. The goal of each faculty member is to develop well-rounded artists in their students with excellent technique and a deep respect and love for the arts.

Spanish Dance Choreography Course
We are excited to announce that this week we began a Spanish Dance choreography course in collaboration with Eduardo Martinez, principal dancer with the Ballet Nacional de España (BNE). Eduardo has taught several master classes at the Conservatory in the past and most recently worked with our dancers who participated in the 2019 trip to Spain. Read More >
Conservatory classes will begin on Tuesday, September 8th with a limited number of in-person and remote classes in Dance, Music, and Theatre, following strict health and safety protocols, respective of each discipline.
We will continue to monitor and follow the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Florida Department of Health. Updated information on classes offered, schedules, and protocols will be continually provided to our current families via email.

Dance Department Dress Code
For All Dance Disciplines:
DO NOT PURCHASE A NEW LEOTARD, AS THE CONSERVATORY MAY CHANGE THE UNIFORM ONCE REGULAR IN-PERSON CLASSES RESUME AT CONCHITA ESPINOSA ACADEMY.
For ALL dance disciplines and groups, students should wear a black leotard or their CEA burgundy leotard.
Congratulations to Alejandro Fernandez, CEA class of 2016!
Alejandro, CEA c/o 2016, is a piano student at the Conservatory of the Arts under Maestro Marlene Urbay. He first began his studies at CEC under Maestro Jose Ramon Urbay and has since continued with Maestro Marlene Urbay. He was recently admitted to Boston University on a partial scholarship for music. Boston University School of Music is currently ranked as one of the top music schools in the country and offers a focused, conservatory-style programs as well as the opportunities of a major research university. His commitment and dedication to music has paid off! We are very proud of you Alejandro! You are Conchita's legacy!
Guest Speaker at CEA: Dr. Daniel Lewis
On September 20th, we were honored to have Dr. Daniel Lewis visit CEA to speak to the 6th through 8th grades and Junior Dance Mastery members and give a master class to the Senior Dance Mastery students. This was the first of a series of professional guest speakers we plan to have for our upper school students this school year. Throughout the year, we are inviting a number of seasoned professionals from different walks of life in our community speak to our students about how to apply and take full advantage of all of the subjects they study in their day-to-day lives, from dance to mathematics, science to music.
